This tutorial will show you how to setup Outlook on your computer for the first time.

PLEASE NOTE:

The following positions will not be able to access the Outlook app and must instead navigate to outlook.office.com in a web browser to access email. The rest of the sign-in steps will remain the same:

  • Certified Dining Manager/Culinary Services Coordinator
  • Concierge
  • Dining Room Coordinator/Dining Room Supervisor
  • Life Enrichment Assistant
  • LPN/RN
  • Memory Care Life Enrichment Coordinator
  • Receptionist
  • Staffing Coordinator/Scheduler

  • Once you have signed into your computer, click the Windows icon on the taskbar.

  • When the Start Menu pops up, type “Outlook” into the search bar and click on Outlook. It may also be called Outlook (New).

  • It should prompt you to sign in with your email address ([email protected]) and your computer password.

  • If you have not yet set up Microsoft Authenticator on your mobile phone, it will walk you through the following steps.

  • Download the Microsoft Authenticator application on your phone as instructed on the Outlook window. This will be required to keep on your phone moving forward. (Android link to play store / iPhone link to app store)

  • Sign into Authenticator by selecting "Add Account" -> "Work or School Account" -> Scan QR code

  • Confirm logging in by inputting the numbers provided from the Outlook sign in window on the Authenticator application when prompted. The screenshot below shows where you will find the numbers, highlighted by the red box.

  • Once signed in, Outlook should bring in your emails automatically, and you should no longer need to sign in going forward.

Note: Legend IT automatically creates your email signature for your company email. Please contact support if you want your cell phone number attached to your signature.

Congratulations! You have now setup your Outlook.
